Just the life of a dog

I have started traveling with my husband on his trips for work. Because of that we have been putting Bailey in kennels. At first I felt guilty because she was left behind but she actually doesn’t mind it. We are boarding her with our vet and that way if anything happens she has all the medical attention that she needs. I don’t want this to be a habit, but it is nice to know that Bailey is safe and happy when we are away. She also behaves  better after she has been there. I just hope see doesn’t think that she is being punished when we send her there…..

Decided to get bailey a new jacket because we had a cold spell of course now it is gone. but occasionally she gets to sport it. I think it was so cute on her. I can say that pet clothes have gotten so cute. I actually got this at Target. Target has a great select of clothes for dogs, not sure about anything other pets. It was kinda funny because I could’ve gotten so much to go with her jacket. They are actually making accessories for dogs and all kinds of things. crazy huh!

Another day at the dog park!

Bailey is alittle overweight and I think that is why she has started snoring more lately. I am going to take her to the dog park more often. It is a big change for her in an apartment. She is used to running around without a leash back in Virginia. The bad thing is all she does is lay around and follow me around. Min Pins are supposed to be happy and crazy. They usually jump around and are barking all the time. Bailey has not done that since we moved to texas. I think she is depressed.

Today Bailey-The-Dog has been put into timeout. She has been unusually annoying today. Bark, bark, bark, that is all she is doing and it is driving me mad. Most days she occasionally barks at people but today it is every person that she sees. It all started with a man walking his dog and from there it has gotten worse. Hopefully tomorrow will be better….

Bailey being a brat!

Bailey has been the best companion to me. With my husband on trips a lot I have no one to talk to and so I have Bailey. Of course she doesn’t talk back but she is still there. She is so funny when she sits there and stares at me with those cute eyes. I think she wishes she could speak to me because most of the time she comes up to my face and just looks at me expecting me to know what she wants. She also does this silent bark thing, You see her moving  but no sound is coming out. It is so funny.

Bailey is very protective of me. Just walking around the neighborhood she is always alert to others around us. She barks only at certain people. I often wonder why but then I think maybe all people put out scents and bailey just doesn’t like some of them. (just a thought yeah kinda crazy I know).
